Welcome to Relaxed Spider
Keep these points in mind. Choose one suit, two suits or four suits using the game controls. The objective remains eight complete same-suit King-to-Ace runs. Relaxed Spider on helibxg.com permits stock deals while columns are empty. The game still uses 104 cards in ten columns.
The relaxed difference
A stock card dealt to an empty column becomes that column's first face-up card. An empty column no longer prevents a stock deal in this variant. The relaxed stock rule does not allow mixed-suit groups to move together. The relaxed stock rule does not change the rank requirement for ordinary moves.
Ten columns and a stock
Keep these points in mind. Only the bottom card of each opening column is face up. The first four columns have six cards each and the remaining six have five. The stock contains fifty cards for five later deals. The opening tableau contains 54 cards.
Descending rank placement
An exposed card may land on another exposed card exactly one rank higher. A King needs an empty destination because no rank is higher. The two cards do not need to share a suit for a single-card placement. An Ace cannot receive a lower-ranked card.
Follow one suit
A suit change can leave a smaller movable group at the bottom of a column. A descending group moves as a unit only when every selected card shares a suit. Same-suit building can reduce the work needed to separate mixed sequences later. A break in rank prevents the entire selected group from moving together.
Keep space available
Keep these points in mind. Empty columns remain useful for separating temporary mixed builds. Any exposed card or legal same-suit group can occupy an empty column. A new stock row fills every empty column with one card. You may preserve an empty column until you decide to deal from the stock.
Stock deals are still shared
Keep these points in mind. A stock deal places one card onto each of the ten columns. Dealing can block an existing sequence as well as reveal new combinations. You cannot direct an individual stock card to a chosen destination. Undo restores the previous arrangement when the stock-deal snapshot is available.
Clear the table
A few details help explain this feature. A complete run contains thirteen face-up cards in one suit from King to Ace. Changing the number of suits does not change the number of required runs. The game removes a complete run automatically at the bottom of a column. Eight collected runs are required to finish Relaxed Spider.
Try another decision
Replay restores the same shuffle for another attempt. Hints identify legal options without guaranteeing a win. New game creates a fresh shuffle in the selected suit setting. Random relaxed deals are not presented as guaranteed solvable.
Separate variant progress
A few details help explain this feature. My Statistics displays relaxed starts and wins in separate rows. Relaxed Spider keeps its saved games separate from standard Spider when saving is enabled. Each relaxed suit setting has its own current local game. Privacy & Cookie Settings lets you turn saving off or clear local records.
